Lock box for 12 VDC The perfect protection for your 12 VDC VCR in vehicle applications. This compact and robust 12 gauge aluminum lock box, weigh only 6.5 lb, and is design to fit in tight areas. Fully vented to dissipate the internal heat, this cabinet does not require a cooling fan in most situations. The front door is locked and opens 180 degree to gives a clear access to the inside of the box. The rear panel is removable and also gives a full access to the back of the VCR for service and installation. Most popular 12 VDC VCR can be secured inside this lock box: the dimensions are: 11"(W), 5"(H), 16"(D). When needed, a 12 VDC cooling fan version is available for maximum ventilation. Also, to reduce VCR vibrations when used in mobile applications, a special kit is available separately. The FR-SR-1611 includes: a foam cushion, a bracket to safely hold in place the VCR inside the lock box and two brackets to secure the lock box to the vehicle floor.
